Delphine Pujol

Delphine Pujol is a Titirangi-based artist whose delicate, layered works explore nature, beauty, and spiritual ideas through the medium of paper. Originally from New Caledonia, she works with quilling, paper sculpture, and mixed media — often incorporating textiles and watercolour into her pieces.

A lifelong maker, Delphine’s creative journey deepened during a period of grief, when she turned to paper art as both expression and solace. This period of intense creation led her to local markets, exhibitions, and eventually international recognition.

In 2024, luxury fashion house Dior invited her to contribute to a three-day in-store event, commissioning her to demonstrate the art of quilling and create bespoke paper knot embellishments for their pre-designed cards.

Delphine is inspired by colour, form, and philosophical ideas — and she thrives on creative variety. Always eager to learn, she regularly challenges herself to experiment with new methods and materials, pushing the boundaries of her medium while staying true to her poetic, detail-driven style.
